MPESA kenya biggest bank by no of accounts and transactions volume was down all day from 0700hrs to 1800hrs even b4 the easter holidays rush hit home. Kenyans must now wake up and support Zap as a way of checking Mpesa and force them to improve their proccesing capability. I was stuck somewhere 4 5 hours with no fuel. We have come to trust Mpesa so much that i decided not to get into the banking hall and get some cash due to the parking crisis and figured that there must e a pesa point ATM along waiyaki way where i wud get csh.

A friend of mine had his car detained by mechanics since he couldnt pay the 3k sercice fee yet he has been paying using mpesa 4 the last 6 months. Just how much do we rely on mpesa.
