John Waibochi of virtualcity.co.ke, becomes one of the few start-ups in Kenya to win venture funding in the Nokia Growth Economy Venture challenge winning 1 Million dollars.

He was among 14 entries from Kenya and 300 globally, what a guy!!!

This is amazing considering he was up against world class countries in terms of ICT usa china and india he deserves state recognition
another interesting thing he not well known considering how loud kenyan techies are(blogs)

Why would he 'deserve state recognition'? You are no more different from the the folks that go like 'ninataka sirikali itusaidie...'
