China used some of its euro and $ reserves to buy Greek assets and the media reports - China has invested in Greece smile What people don't see is China is dumping euros and $ and then they wonder when they see the Chinese Treasury report reduced euro and $ reserves. Quite clever from the Chinese.
A defaulting europe or japan or US would send global shivers across all markets. If and when this happens, if you can't go through another 2008, just get your money out and sleep soundly Laughing out loudly

I think the crisis has affected us already. Hedge funds are profit taking to buffer their losing positions in the european market. This has made our little market slip. If the reatail investors understood this and continued to invest anyway we can continue to have a bull market. Until then lets wait for the mzungu to return.Sad

Puhleeze... Way too many conspiracy theories...

The Greeks were spending what they did not earn!
In Kenya, we can't blame Rothschild for the corruption/inefficiencies of our MPigs!
Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

It may be more complicated than that. Or it may be that simple noone knows. All I know is that this is necessary to create cycles in the market which is good for investing.smile
