@bird_man been having the same issue with my coop bank credit card it all started last week but one on a Friday. called them this week on Monday they said they are having an issue with their system so they have to disable online transactions until they get things back to normal. But the problem they aren't giving any datesSad Currently I'm using my KCB debit card linked with the same PayPal account.

so KCB debit card is the way to go.Thanx @Sizzla. i have been wanting to buy stuff from ebay and my buddy was telling me that co-0p card isnt working .....

Paypal have finally started looking at Africa objectively. The truth is that Africa is the safest continent to carry out e-commerce, but Paypal allowed negative perceptions of Africa to cloud their judgement. I wonder whether they might work with MPESA on a mobile money solution

@Inf8nity.....Coop Bank have issues with online transactions but they can be sorted out.I called the card center and mine is now working.They just need some verification. Number is 020-3276610.

Actually i had been calling the mobile numbers but they weren't helpful at all!

Thanks guys for the info, I see like this is a well informed/best forum to ask this; recently I wanted to buy a HI-fi radio system from Ebay but from other sources I came across the above hurdles,like lets say am able to pay the system which was listed as shipping free only in the US and was costing Ksh12,000, like how much would be the total cost till it hits the Kenyan coast.

@wanjirus my advice would be to look for a seller that ships worldwide or at least in Kenya as well.

When doing your search for the product make sure have entered your Geo Location then in the results select sort by Price + shipping.

That way you will be able to locate sellers that can ship to Kenya. Good Luck!

@wanjirus. call UPS or DHL. They have a facility where you can have a local address (not p.o.box) that is compatible with US postal service. You will just input the address and they will ship it to you according to your charges.

....this is good news. I have an I&M bank account and very happy. I buy for ebay and collect my stuff without hassles. Looking forward to selling on ebay.
