Anyone have concrete info on who/how its going about this? I'm assuming it'll be looking to sell its customer book and also stuff like the metro-cabling its been doing. Plus goodwill. Is that worth Ksh3.7bn?

@Wa_ithaka, 3.7b let's get serious - that is their current market capitalization at a P/E of what 60? If they sell at that price, the Sellers make the money.

Now for company reducing EPS, a fair P/E should be maybe 8. That gives a value of 500m/750m at most. Then good value, and many suitors amidst the mobile wars.

Could this be the reason why AK hasn't yet reduced in price to 10 despite not too rousy results?

muganda, if a takeover was to take place for ''750 million at most'', that would be a disaster for shareholders

This ar just rumours coz the stock today didnt reflect what u guyz are thinking ? But i hope it grows into a full blown price rally .
